About
My first real career -- and still a passion -- is television production. As more than one friend in the business has said, it's "making TV magic." And there IS something surreal and magical about seeing your work broadcast into millions of homes, no doubt. But I've discovered that what's REALLY magic is capturing a "moment" in a photo. Video can certainly capture moments, but photography captures "moments:" that one little snippet, that one feeling you get, that fleeting second that makes you just want to freeze time, to sear the image into your brain and never ever ever forget it. Nothing can do that like a photograph. And that's what keeps me going, looking at the images I take and realizing what I've captured. A moment.
